Rheaume “Rocky” Brisebois

Class of 1982


While studying medicine at the University of Ottawa, Rheaume played guard on the varsity team. Medicine gave way to sports writing and broadcasting.

He covered Football for the Canadian Associated Press, Nouveau Journal, Dimanche-Matin, and Montreal Matin. He then moved to broadcasting, covering the Montreal Alouettes for 20 years on CJMS in Montreal.

Rheaume “Rocky” Brisebois was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum, Football Reporters of Canada wing in 1982.
