What does it mean to you to be a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum?

"It is an absolute honor and privilege to a be a member of the CFHOF. I'm so proud to be associated with Canadian football as a player in the CFL as well as an amateur coach in Saskatchewan. My induction is a tribute to my family, my teammates and the many volunteers who gave their time so I could play while growing up. Our unique version of football is one of the institutions that unites our vast country so I'm particularly appreciative, as a Canadian, to be considered with the greats that built our game."--Gene Makowsky
