During Condredge Holloway's first four seasons with the Ottawa Rough Riders, both he and Tom Clements shared quarterbacking duties.
In his rookie year, Holloway threw six touchdown passes and was the 5th leading rusher in the Eastern Division. Holloway became the starting quarterback in 1979 and remained with the club through the 1980 season.

The Toronto Argonauts have commemorated Holloway's athletic talents and team leadership by electing him an All-Time Argonaut.

Inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum in 1999 as a player.
