Career Highlights

  • 1st on the Canadian Football League (CFL) All-Time Most Interceptions Made in a career with 87 (as of 2015).

  • 2nd on the CFL All-Time Most Interceptions Made in a season with 14. This was done in 1990 with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (as of 2015).

  • 1st on the CFL All-Time Most Interceptions Return Yards in a career with 1,508 (as of 2015).


Less Browne signed as a free agent with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1984 and spent five seasons with Hamilton.

In 1989, Browne joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In 1990, Browne set a CFL record for most interception return yards with 273 yards (a record he still held at the time of his induction).

Inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum in 2002 as a player.
