Career Highlights

  • Played 128 games with the Edmonton Eskimos.

  • 10th on the Edmonton Eskimos All-Time Most Return Yards in a game when he returned for 60 yards. This happened on July 10, 1979 versus the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Danny Kepley had an outstanding collegiate football career at East Carolina University and was signed by the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) in 1974. Prior to the 1975 season, Kepley was released by the Cowboys and joined the Edmonton Eskimos.

In Kepley's rookie season the Eskimos considered him the Outstanding Defensive Player in the Grey Cup game win over the Montreal Alouettes.

Despite injuries during the 1976 and 1982 seasons, he seldom missed a game.

Inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum in 1996 as a player.
