Hall of Fame "What does it mean to you to be a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame?"
Norman Kwong "A: It's an honour to be part of it and to be chosen from among all the great players who have been in the CFL over the years. It's also an honour to represent Alberta in the Hall of Fame."
Hall of Fame "What are you doing now?"
Norman Kwong "I'm currently in the fifth year of my tenure as Lieutenant Governor of Alberta.
Hall of Fame "Are you still involved in football? (coaching, playing, driving kids to games, or just watching when you can)"
Norman Kwong "I watch whenever I can. I was also asked to do the coin toss for the 2009 Grey Cup in Calgary, which was fun."
Hall of Fame "What was your fondest football memory? (could be from any point in your football career)"
Norman Kwong "Probably being captain of the Eskimos for the '54, '55 and '56 Grey Cups. I had so many amazing team mates and I was happy to take in the experience with them all."
Hall of Fame "How did you know it was time to leave football?"
Norman Kwong "There were a number of factors. I didn't want to be seen as someone who hung on past his prime. I also felt very lucky that I hadn't sustained any real injuries or bad concussions and I didn't want to press my luck. I also had a fiancée waiting in the wings so I was ready to move on to new things."
Hall of Fame "What do you miss the most about playing football?"
Norman Kwong "I miss getting into top-notch condition. I also missing the feeling you get from playing with a great team and winning. "
