Hall of Fame "What does it mean to you to be a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame?"
Roger Aldag "It is a great honour to be in the company of so many fantastic players that I have admired my whole life. To be recognized in this way is very humbling and the wonderful memories of the induction ceremony will last a lifetime and to have my family with me will always be special."
Hall of Fame "What are you doing now?"
Roger Aldag "I live with my wife Joanne and we are enjoying our new grandchildren. I am Manager of Land Services with Trans Gas/Sask Energy."
Hall of Fame "Are you still involved in football? (coaching, playing, driving kids to games, or just watching when you can)"
Roger Aldag "I am a proud season ticket holder of the Saskatchewan Roughriders since retiering from the game. I also attend as many high school, junior and university games as I can."
Hall of Fame "What was your fondest football memory? (could be from any point in your football career)"
Roger Aldag "OF course it has to be winning my one and only Grey Cup in 1989!!! Also winning two Canadian Junior Football Championships with the Regina Rams under the leadership of Canadian Football Hall of Famer Gord Currie. Winning the 8 man Provincial football championship with the Gull Lake Lions in my first year of playing football under the leadership of the legendary coach Gerry Elsmile. "
Hall of Fame " How did you know it was time to leave football?"
Roger Aldag "I had always said that I wanted to leave the game before the game left me and hopefully that was the case when I retired in 1992."
Hall of Fame "What do you miss most about playing football?
Roger Aldag "No doubt in my mind it is my teammates, the commaraderie is unquestionably a great part of playing football. I also miss game day, it was always a great feeling to run out on the field with my teammates, especially at Taylor Field / Mosaic Stadium with all the terrific Riders fans!."
