Jim Corrigall was an intense and competitive individual who, for many seasons, anchored the Toronto Argonauts' defensive line.
Corrigall was excellent during the 1975 season, when he received defensive player of the year honours and was the Argonauts' nominee for the Most Outstanding Player and Most Outstanding Canadian awards. In 1978, Corrigall was again nominated in all three categories.
Corrigall's last two seasons were spent as a player-coach with Toronto, a testimony to his playing ability and leadership qualities.
