During his career, Ken Charlton was a stellar performer at many positions. An all-star at flying wing and running back, Charlton was also an excellent punter and tackler, and could play quarterback if called upon.

In 1950, Charlton rushed for 498 yards on 76 carries and his 19.1 yard average per pass reception was the best in the West. In 1953 he punted for an average 42.2 yards and was the West’s leading punt returner with a 12.1 yard average.

Ken Charlton is a member of the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame and the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ Plaza of Honour.
