Canadian Football Hall of Fame mourns the loss of Sam Etchevery

Hall of Famer Sam Etcheverry has passed away at the age of 79 following a battle with cancer.

"The Rifle" dominated the quaterback position for the Montreal Allouettes in the 50's.

“The Canadian Football Hall of Fame is very saddened by the loss of one of the True Gentleman of our Game”, Mark DeNobile Executive Director was quoted today.

So many fans remember the thrills he gave to all of us we will miss him ,our condolences go out to his family.
